How it's made
Source: Google's Photorealistic 3D Tiles, shot with one isometric camera.
Drawing: redrawn tile by tile by GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst, guided by a structure map from the 3D model.
South of Broadway: Qwen-Image 2.1 fine-tuned on those tiles, on a home GPU (Built with Qwen).
UBC: GPT Image 2.6 Flare through OpenRouter, from the same camera. Tile edges (G) shows which model drew each tile.
Hotspots (the port, the False Creek Flats, PNE, Commercial–Broadway, Joyce, River District, the bridges, Oakridge, Marine Gateway, Kerrisdale): GPT Image 2.6 Flare through OpenRouter, seams repaired with the fine-tuned Qwen.
West side (Point Grey to Southlands): the same fine-tuned Qwen-Image 2.1, on rented and home GPUs (Built with Qwen).
Traffic: simulated. Cars drive the real streets, lanes and signals, but not real trips.
